of?
In creating and maintaining your pages, you are required to
comply with rules and regulations of your state licensing authority and,
of course, state or federal laws and regulations.
Question: How do I join and what is my cost and
obligation?
As we have stated, this began as a challenge to
provide interactive real estate applications to independent real estate
associates, groups and companies. Doing that requires that we deliver the
finest application available at a reasonable cost and without long term
obligation. Therefore, we give you 30 days without charge to test drive
the system. If you wish to continue, the cost is $23.50 monthly (paid
quarterly in advance). If you elect not to continue, the system only
recognizes those who continue to pay the fee and will automatically remove
the non-member.
Question: After obtaining my pass code, what is my next
step?
Go to the log on page at http://www.relocate-us.com/cfm/rusmain.cfm/
You will be asked for your ID and your password. Once entered, you will
immediately access the "control panel" where all functions begin.
Question: How do I personalize my information?
Simply
click on the EDIT AGENT icon and enter all personal information including
resume or other marketing information. Double check your e-mail address
because this is the link where all reports and notifications of visitor
inquiries are sent.
Question: Can I include my company logo in my interactive online
pages?
You should enter the logo. Access the "control panel,"
go to the icon named "EDIT MEMBER." It is important to note that the logo
must be a .gif file of less than 15K. If you are unsure how to check and
resize the image file, visit the short tutorial on image
files.
Question: How do I enter my listings?
Enter the "control
Panel" and click on "ADD LISTINGS." Tab down through the various fields -
use the drop-down boxes where applicable. If you enter new data, the
drop-down box will be updated to include the new data in the next session.
If you are adding the photo at the same time, please indicate the "path"
to the file in the input box. Edit or delete listings in the same
manner.
Question: What is the maximum listings which my membership
supports?
NO LIMIT or maximum on the number of listings which
are active at anytime.
Question: How current is the data?
Most real estate sites
update on a schedule. However, we believe that an effective site is
designed to be INSTANT UPDATE and ALWAYS CURRENT. Therefore as you make
changes in your data, it is immediately available in the new version to
those online.
Question: If my listings are on my company site, the MLS,
realtor.com or some other listing site, can I link to that
data?
Yes, when you enter your listings in the ADD LISTING
mode, put the web location of that listing data in the URL box at the top
of the page. Otherwise, leave the URL box blank. You must also
enter the address, city, state and price because these are required fields
in the search results list. Relocate-us.com will then auto forward the
user to your listing and record the visit in the database.
Question: How do I add photos to my listings?
As
previously mentioned, agent and property photos are added or changed by
visiting the respective EDIT icon on the "control panel". Photos for
agents and properties should be .jpg format and company logos are in the
.gif format. All image files must be 15K or less, otherwise they will be
rejected by the system.
Question: How can I maximize my exposure to the internet search
engines?
All pages are maintained as html pages. Some may even
elect to register the property search page with the internet search
engines.
Question: How do I incorporate this interactivity into my home
page?
You simply create hyperlinks in your web pages to these
new services. These can be text links or image links. These would normally
include links to the search engine and the customer inquiry form. For your
convenience, we include both the text link and image link for your use on
the agent information
page.
Question: If more than one person in a company are members, can our
listings be grouped in one search screen?
Yes, any number of
agents may be grouped in a virtual group or company with a group search
engine. AND, each inquiry or client view is still personalized with the
individual agent's personal profile, e-mail and database.
Question: When a client visits my interactive pages, what can he or
she access?
A client can access any listing which you have
entered, your personal profile page, company profile, on-line mortgage
calculator, area listing search engine, e-mail links, property flyers and
their personal preference and inquiry form.
Question: Other than having my listings on the web, how do I
benefit?
Each inquiry is entered into your password protected
database. You may preview client request, edit client data and communicate
with each of these clients using the system target and broadcast e-mail
marketing applications. In addition, the full featured contact management
system aids in tracking visits to your listings. Future visits are also
logged into the database.
Question: What is meant by "back office
applications"?
Not only do you have full edit capabilities to
listing and client data, but the application includes the ticker and
scheduling system, automated inquiry notification, direct or broadcast
e-mail, and the "Shirlock Homes" notification of any listings matching
client preferences.
Question: What is "Shirlock Homes"?
Shirlock Homes is an
automated application where the system searches each new listing to
determine any prior buyers entered. Once the buyer enters their personal
preferences the system will notify the buyer, and YOU, of each new listing
which matches that request. It searches the member's database nightly to
determine if there are new listings that meet the buyer's profile.
Question:Can I change the template on my personal and listing
pages?
Yes, when you enter or edit either the agent or listing
data, select the template which you prefer. The listing flyer is
"standard" for all templates. The description fields on both the agent and
listing EDIT screens can greatly enhance the look of the pages. Attention
to the information only adds to the professional look of each page. In
addition, for those who know some HTML coding - the description fields
support HTML tags.
Question: Are both the "ticker and scheduler" functions
available?
Both functions are available for you to schedule
most tasks. They promote follow-up activities with on line buyers and
sellers. You receive automated e-mails to remind you of scheduled
tasks.
Question: What about outdated listings?
Like the member
expiration function, the system reviews the expiration dates of listings.
Once a specified grace period expires, the system will remove the listing
and image files. The same is true of deleted listing - the system will
remove the listing and property image files.
Question: What about other client information?
The system
is designed to allow you to keep all your clients in the online database.
Just ADD CLIENT from the "control panel" and enter any client. Now you
have full function of the applications for those clients also.
